Freshly Brewed Blog Hop - Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper

Christmas is coming...

and today the Freshly Brewed Blog Hop is sharing fun Christmas ideas!

I'm so happy you are hopping around today and checking out all the inspiration from so many beautiful Stampin' Up! friends.

If you are like me I'm always running around like a mad fiend trying to get organized for the holiday season so anytime I can tick things off the list early makes me HAPPY and just a bit more prepared!

Today's project is an E-A-S-Y box, that assembles in minutes, and is actually quite ROOMY! In fact, the one in the photo easily holds one of Stampin' Up!'s block D.  Perfect for gifting!  You can even adjust the height of the box to make a larger gift bag.  Now, that's a WINNER in my book!

The Poinsettia Place Suite makes creating just SO easy...and who can't use easy in the crazy holiday season!

Remember, I like EASY, so to embellish I've simply tied this little beauty shut with scrumptious ribbon, made a tag embellished with one of the poinsettia's cut directly from the paper, and added a sentiment.  BOOM, all done!

Stampin' Up! has provided us with so many yummy Designer Series Papers perfect for the holidays or any gifting throughout the year.   Grab your favourite and start creating!

Would you like to create your own?
As a thank you, for stopping here, I have created a downloadable tutorial.

Enjoy more Christmas inspiration by going to the next stop on the blog hop, my lovely friend Ann, by clicking the link below.

In case there is something not working right here is a list of everyone hopping. Enjoy!

Let's Kick Up Our Heels

Welcome to my blog and to the Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop.

Let's Kick up Our Heels as today's hop is based on the super popular, oh so fun, slim line cards!

If you have never seen a slimline card they are super skinny and long.  You might be thinking..."nope, I'm not creating anything that is an abnormal size".  Well, guess what...they are a FUN shape that does not cost any extra postage!!!  Perfect as you can either make a coordinating envelope or just jazz up a business sized one you purchase.

Now, on to my project...

Christmas time has always been a favourite season - perhaps because it has such loving memories of my mom decorating, baking, wrapping gifts, and always taking us to choose someone off the Angel tree to treat extra special during the holidays.

Whatever it is...I've decided to share one of my favourite Christmas sets/dies for our Slimline Card Blog Hop!

This card uses the Poinsettia Petals Bundle!

This bundle is SO stinking gorgeous!!!

Plus, these dies take all the hard work out of cardmaking, which is SO easy...just my style.

I've paired the Poinsettia dies with the gorgeous Brass Foil Paper to create this beauty.  Plus, had a some leftover die cuts in my scrap drawer and thought it was perfect to accent the sentiment on the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Thanks for hopping with us all today!

I can't wait to see what you create!

Make sure to pop over to my friend

Libby's blog to see what she has created for you!

A bit of Patriotic Stitched Stars

I may live in Australia but I still celebrate my American heritage!
July 4th is especially patriotic and brings back many fond memories with my sisters and family!
Hot summer days filled with trips to the lake, picnics and camping...such fun!

My monthly PJ Inkers Team meeting fell the weekend of July 4th
so I asked the gals to either dress, or create, a red/white and blue project to share.
We had a bit of fun and this was my take on a project to share
which was inspired by an old Stampin' Up! catalogue.

The brass, cherry cobbler, and night of navy colour combination
is so striking and one of my fav's of all time.
That brass foil paper is yummilicious!

Since sharing on social media I've had many requests for directions,
so here's a quick video, plus all the products used are listed below.

Thank you for allowing me to share my heritage with all of you!

Thank you for stopping by to check out my take on crafting.
I'd love if you create this project to share with me as I love to see what everyone does.

It's a GREAT month to purchase Stampin' Up! supplies as you get a $9 BONUS coupon
with every $90 purchase.  Bonus Coupons can be used on anything
you order during the month of August!  A win/win in my book!!!!

Please let me know if you have any crafting questions!
